Core logic of mechanical rapping dust removal for negative (positive) electrode rapping hammers
Xiangye Environmental Protection introduces the core logic of mechanical rapping ash cleaning: The negative (positive) rapping hammer performs periodic actions of "rotation - impact - vibration - dust falling" to remove dust from the electrode surface. The specific process is as follows:
1. Power transmission: The motor drives the rapping shaft to rotate through the reducer, and the rapping shaft drives the rapping hammer fixed on it to rotate synchronously.
2. Potential energy accumulation: As the rapping hammer rotates with the shaft, the hammer head gradually rises, and gravitational potential energy continuously accumulates (similar to the rising process of a pendulum).
3. Impact transmission: When the rapping hammer rotates to the set angle (usually 60°-90°), the hammer head falls rapidly under the action of gravity and violently impacts the rapping anvil fixed on the electrode.

4. Vibration ash cleaning: The mechanical vibration generated by the impact is transmitted through the anvil to the entire electrode (plate or wire), causing the dust layer on the electrode surface to loosen and peel off, and fall into the ash hopper below under the action of gravity.
5. Periodic cycle: The rapping shaft continues to rotate, and the rapping hammer completes one rapping per rotation. The cycle is usually 10-30 seconds (adjustable according to dust concentration), ensuring no dust accumulation on the electrode surface.

Key technical parameters and selection basis: The selection of rapping hammer needs to combine factors such as dust collector specifications, electrode types, and dust characteristics. The core technical parameters are as follows: Parameter Category Definition and Function Selection Reference Standard Hammer Body Mass Total mass of the hammer head + hammer handle, which directly determines the rapping force (the larger the mass, the stronger the rapping force) Cathode: Select 0.5-1kg when the wire diameter ≤3mm; Anode: Select 2-4kg when the plate thickness ≥3mm Rapping Frequency Number of rapping times per unit time (times/minute), affecting the ash cleaning frequency High-concentration dust: 1-2 times/minute; Low-concentration dust: 0.5-1 times/minute Impact Angle The angle when the hammer head rotates to impact (angle with the vertical direction), determining the impact speed and force Conventional 30°-60°; select a small angle for electrodes with weak rigidity (to reduce impact) Material Hardness Surface hardness of the hammer head (HRC), affecting wear resistance and service life 45# steel after quenching and tempering: HRC30-35; alloy material with HRC40-45 is selected for high-wear working conditions Connection Method Fixing method between the hammer body and the rapping shaft (key connection, set screw, pin connection) Key connection is selected for high-speed rotating shafts; set screw connection can be selected for low-speed shafts
Common faults and maintenance points: The rapping hammer is in a dust and vibration environment for a long time, and is prone to faults such as wear and loosening. Regular maintenance is required to ensure the ash cleaning effect:
